Candy Crush what a rush!

Candy Crush — a game millions of Facebook users are so “addicted” in playing. A game I also play. My husband use to ask me “why do you play that game?”, What’s in this game? why are people so hooked with this game? Why people are talking about this game?

On my personal opinion, probably because it’s candy! Who’s not into candies? who’s not addicted to candies? But seriously, I think it’s the feeling of getting it done when you finish a level with a difficult goal. That’s what makes the game exciting and fun. It’s the feeling of achievement, the feeling that you did it better than the others, the feeling that you have something to brag “what level are you in?” and Plus the fact that people will be moving up and you will be left behind if you stop playing.

In this game you are only given maximum of 5 lives and you can only gain a life every 25 minutes or by asking from your friends. The game is divided into episode were you need to earn 3 tickets from your friends to pass through a certain episode. This game builds friendship. It brings out a helping hand when you’re in need of a life or a ticket to keep moving on with the game. It feels good that people are helping you out and feels even better that you were able to help a friend pass an episode.

This game is kinda like “Life”. You need to keep moving, you need to find ways or a better strategy on how you can pass a difficult situation and sometimes you need your friend’s help to surpass a failed relationship or borrow money because you’re broke. Your job is to pay it forward. To give back what you have been given. To me, that’s what makes this game interesting. It connects you with people you seldom see. It gives you something to talk about. It makes you think. It makes you pause for a while and see what ‘s your best move.

Enjoy Life ๐Ÿ™‚ and keep playing the game of your life. Good luck!

Can you see what I see?

It’s my family’s “Panata” as we call it in Filipino to do Visita Iglesia during Good fridays. But this year’s experience was extra special. As we were waiting inside the car for my sisters to come out of one of the church that we visited, a cloud on top of the church caught my eye. I was amazed by how the rays of the sun passed through that group of clouds. I decided to take a picture of it. I don’t know if it is just my imagination, but as I was showing it to my daughter Tanya, I saw this figure formed by the group of clouds. It was like a man with long hair, on his side stretching his arm as if asking us to come. ย I see it as a miracle. A reminder that there is someone out there constantly watching over us, guiding us in everything we do and someone who accepts us with all his heart and just waiting for us to come to him.

Thank you Lord, for always being there for me and my family. To God be the Glory!

Since we recently moved toย  Canlubang, Laguna, I was on the look out for places to visit where me and my family can have fun and make good memories for my kids to remember by. As we were on one of our road trips to familiarize ourselves in this new โ€œHometownโ€, we accidentally took a wrong turn and ended up in front of the gate of The Mills Country Club. This Country club is located at Unity Avenue,Carmeltown,Canlubang Laguna just beside San Sebastian College Laguna, and at the heart of Carmelray Industrial park.

The Place was pretty intimidating at first for since it is a country club. You would think that it would cost a lot to experience the amenities as a quest. But surprisingly, it was surprisingly affordable. As we enter the lobby, a warm and friendly reception greeted us. Offered us the Gazebo which is located at the center of the pool area where you can see almost the entire place including the scenic view of Mt. Makiling.

My kids jumped for joy and was so excited to dive into the pool and told me, โ€œMommy, I like it here letโ€™s go back here.โ€ We have not left the place yet.ImageImage

Beside the pool there were two sand areas where the kids played and get to feel as if they were on the beach. My son Yรฑigo even ask her older sister Tanya to bury him under the white sand and take a picture of them.

Lunch time came and we decided to order food on their Menu. We ordered Chicken fingers with Honey Mustard dip, Grilled Ham and Cheese with chips, white Rice and all time favorite Bihon Gisado or Simply Pancit Bihon. Food was affordable and extremely good to the palate. My daughter Tanya knowing how picky she is said, โ€œ Mom, the chicken finger is good and I can finish the whole batch!โ€ Itโ€™s very rare that we would not have trouble choosing on the menu and order food that my kids would love, and this is one of that time where we did not have to force them to eat.

After eating, my husband fell asleep (probably because of the quietness of the place, the fresh air and ย very relaxing mood) and the kids went back to the pool, I decided to go to the Shower room so I can take a dip. I was awed by the shower area where upon opening the door I saw the Sauna, the Jacuzzi, the Shower cubicles and the locker rooms. The Locker room was big and cozy and the long comfy chair was even inviting of a good nap.

Overall, our stay at โ€œThe Mills Country Clubโ€ was relaxing, fun, memorable and we certainly look forward to going back and bring friends and family over. I rate it 4 stars and would definitely suggest it to people I know.
